Cranberry Smoothies

Today I am sharing exactly what to do wtih all that delicious leftover Holiday Cranberry Sauce! It's just too good to waste!
What do I do?   I freeze it in cubes, to make my homemade Cranberry Smoothies!

Now, if you have jellied cranberries than you may find that your cubes don't exactly freeze up into solid cubes.  For the jellied sauce cubes, I don't bother to pop the frozen cubes out of the tray to store in  freezer bags, I just put the tray in a gallon size ziplock bag and store the whole tray in the freezer and pop/scoop the cubes out as needed.
 Each cube is about 2 Tablespoons (1/8 cup)    so 2 cubes is about 1/4 cup

Here's how I make mine, but feel free to play around with it!
Cranberry Smoothie
Makes 1
1 cup milk
2 cubes (1/4 cup) frozen Cranberries
1/2 banana or 1/4 cup (2 frozen cubes) pumpkin puree
Optional: 1-2 teaspoons honey
2 Tablespoons of soy protein powder

Place all ingredients in blender.
Blend on high 15 -20 seconds or till blended.
